Adelaide’s East End is welcoming an exciting new addition to its vibrant dining scene. 

OZIN, a unique fusion restaurant, is promising to take diners on a culinary journey across the globe. The new eatery combines international flair with the finest local ingredients, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

For Neeraj Kumar, OZIN represents the culmination of years of dedication and passion to the hospitality scene both in Australia, and around the world.

Originally from India, Neeraj arrived in Adelaide in 2014 as a student, bringing with him a wealth of experience in hospitality. Armed with a Masters in International Hospitality Management from Le Cordon Bleu, an MBA in Finance from Torrens University, and a diploma in Project Management, Neeraj has honed his craft while managing hospitality venues across Australia.  

OZIN’s culinary mastermind, Vicky Ratnani, brings 25 years of experience spanning India, Germany, Australia and Dubai, where the kitchen genius was a celebrity chef.  

The duo first crossed paths in Adelaide where they worked together, dreaming of opening a restaurant that combined their shared vision of global cuisine with personalised service. Now, as Australian citizens, they’re ready to bring that vision to life in Adelaide.  

Owner Neeraj Kumar is a lover of hospitality and has spent years dreaming and crafting the venue to launch it in his image, with the knowledge of all his experience combined. 

“OZIN is a celebration of the world’s flavours, all brought together with the incredible produce we have right here in South Australia. We want to create a space where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re here for a fine dining experience or a casual meal. 

“This is our way of giving back to the community we love to serve—by creating something truly special that celebrates the city’s rich food culture and global connections.”  

The restaurant’s design reflects this ethos, blending elegance with warmth. Housed in a beautifully restored 1920s heritage building on East Terrace, OZIN’s interiors are polished yet inviting, with large opulent windows flooding the space with natural light.  

At the heart of OZIN’s menu is its dedication to authentic charcoal cooking. Diners can look forward to dishes like char grilled barramundi, which marries smoky flavours with fresh, local ingredients. 

The menu spans cuisines from Asia to Mexico, all thoughtfully crafted to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. The drinks menu, featuring South Australian wines and expertly curated cocktails, complements the food perfectly.  As East Terrace continues to attract food enthusiasts, OZIN is poised to become a standout destination.
