Adelaide’s favorite purveyor of twice-cooked gourmet pizza, One Sneaky Cheetah, is expanding its reach with the opening of its fifth location in Modbury North. Situated on Montague Road, next to the Clovercrest Swimming Centre.

The newest “Cheetah Stop” delivers its signature blend of bold flavors and a nostalgic neighborhood vibe to the northeast suburbs.

Founder Tony Mitolo is clear about the vision for the concept and is eager to see the growth and development for the concept.

“We want to spread our pawprint further while staying true to what makes us special—delivering a unique, high-quality product in a space that feels welcoming and warm.

“It’s about more than just great pizza; it’s about creating a space where people feel at home. We want to create a neighborhood spot,” said Mr Mitolo.

The Modbury North venue builds on the success of One Sneaky Cheetah’s Campbelltown location, which first introduced Adelaide to its twice-cooked pizzas.

“We’ve retained our signature approach. The Modbury space is slightly bigger, with more room for diners to enjoy their pizza fresh from the oven.

“We’ve created something that balances tradition with innovation—a sturdy base, salty carbon spots, and toppings that speak for themselves.

“We’re ambitious but cautious. There’s a lot to achieve in Adelaide before we take the leap anywhere else,”  said Mr Mitolo.

Inside, the fit-out features warm materials like sake oak and maple, steering clear of the sterile stainless steel aesthetic often seen in modern eateries.

The venue has booth and bar seating accommodate up to 14 patrons, while an outdoor deck—scheduled for completion in February—will provide an alfresco dining option perfect for summer evenings.

The twice-cooked method, a hallmark of One Sneaky Cheetah’s offering, ensures pizzas emerge with crispy edges and a soft, airy center. House-made salami, sauces, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients elevate these pies beyond the ordinary.

While Tony and his team are focused on perfecting the Modbury North location, plans are already underway for more Cheetah Stops in 2025, with potential interstate ventures on the horizon.

In the meantime, One Sneaky Cheetah will continue its presence at major events like WOMAD and the Fringe Festival, introducing more South Australians to its gourmet offering.
