Haigh’s Chocolates and internationally renowned couture house Paolo Sebastian have join forces to unveil an enchanting new limited-edition gift collection.
Bringing together chocolate and couture, the collaboration celebrates the craftsmanship, storytelling and meticulous attention to detail that have become synonymous with both Adelaide-born brands.
The Haigh’s Chocolates x Paolo Sebastian Gift Range combines specially created chocolates with beautiful keepsakes, all wrapped in a whimsical aesthetic inspired by memory, imagination and nostalgia.
Soft pink, powder blue and deep navy feature throughout the collection, finished with gold accents and signature cocoa bean and nightingale songbird motifs.
Behind the collaboration are Haigh’s Head Chocolatier Ben Kolly and Paolo Sebastian Creative Director and Founder Paul VasileS, who worked closely together to bring the collection to life.
For Paul, the partnership also carries a deeply personal connection.
“Growing up, Haigh’s was a special piece of my childhood. I recall receiving a box of beautifully assorted chocolates and how much it lit me up,” Paul said.
“As I became older, gifting Haigh’s to others became just as special. The opportunity to collaborate is such an honour.”
That sense of nostalgia flows through the range.
Among the special keepsakes is a Paolo Sebastian-designed apron, accompanied by a cherished recipe from Paul’s Nonna and classic Haigh’s chocolates.
There is also a bespoke teacup and saucer set paired with Haigh’s chocolates, creating a gift that brings the romance and intricate detail of Paolo Sebastian beyond the fashion world.
Naturally, chocolate remains at the heart of the collaboration.
Ben has created a series of limited-edition flavours inspired by Paul’s memories and stories, incorporating hazelnut, rose and floral notes.
New creations include the White Strawberry & Basil Parfait Truffle, combining strawberry flavour with a basil-infused cream centre.
The White Lemon Myrtle & Macadamia Block brings together creamy white chocolate, native lemon myrtle oil and pieces of Australian macadamia, while the Milk Rose Marshmallow features fragrant rose-infused marshmallow layered over a spiced dark chocolate ganache.
Haigh’s popular Milk Turkish Delight Pastilles have also been given the Paolo Sebastian treatment, presented in a special embossed gift tin.
“I was deeply inspired by Paul’s stories and childhood memories of Haigh’s while developing the new and limited-edition chocolates for the Gift Range,” Ben said.
The collaboration brings together two businesses with deep South Australian roots. Haigh’s has been making chocolate since 1915 and remains Australia’s oldest family-owned chocolate maker, while Paul established Paolo Sebastian in Adelaide before taking his intricate couture creations to the international stage.
Adding another meaningful layer to the partnership, part proceeds from every product sold from the collection will support Bowel Cancer Australia and its work with people impacted by bowel cancer.
The Haigh’s Chocolates x Paolo Sebastian Gift Range is available in Haigh’s stores across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra, as well as online.
