Globally renowned activewear label LSKD is making its long-awaited South Australian debut, with the opening of its first-ever Adelaide store at Burnside Village.

The 175sqm flagship will become the brand’s 24th store worldwide, adding Adelaide to a growing list of LSKD communities across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. But this launch is about more than just performance apparel, it is about purpose, people, and the pursuit of progress.

Founded by former BMX freestyle and motocross athlete Jason Daniel, LSKD, which stands for Loose Kid, began as a passion project, selling t-shirts and stickers at local races. Today, it has evolved into a performance-driven activewear brand worn by elite athletes, weekend warriors, and everyday legends alike.

“We’re so pumped to finally be opening our first LSKD store in Adelaide for our community.

“This store is more than just a place to shop, it’s a space where people can come together, experience the brand, and be inspired to grow,” Mr Daniel said.

The Burnside Village store will showcase LSKD’s full range of technical activewear, including their best-selling tights, shorts, and performance fabrics designed for high-intensity training and everyday movement. But what truly sets this opening apart is the brand’s commitment to community.

As part of its Project Earth initiative, LSKD is bringing back its popular ‘tights and shorts swap’, encouraging shoppers to trade in pre-loved activewear for a fresh pair of LSKD gear. The initiative is a nod to the brand’s sustainability values and has become a crowd favourite at previous openings.

With previous store openings attracting over 700 attendees on launch day, a big turnout is expected, and early birds may be rewarded.

Burnside Village CEO Gregg Downer says LSKD’s arrival is a perfect fit for the premium lifestyle destination.

“This is an incredibly exciting moment for us as we welcome LSKD to our family of retailers.

“They bring not just a globally recognised product, but a value-driven brand that deeply resonates with our customers,” Mr Downer said.

The addition of LSKD reinforces Burnside Village’s growing reputation as a destination for elevated fashion, lifestyle, and wellness. Just 5km from the Adelaide CBD and offering over 1,500 free car parks, it’s poised to host one of the city’s most vibrant retail launches this winter.

For Adelaide’s activewear lovers, functional fitness fans, and those who thrive on growth, the message is clear: this isn’t just a store. It’s a movement. And it’s one that Adelaide is ready for.
